The No Barking in the Food Forest has taken root – and we need your help to keep it growing!

This demonstration site will be a living model for future community food forests in and around Fair Oaks, designed to strengthen our food system, inspire local resilience, and reconnect us with the land and each other.

 The No Barking in the Food Forest was a featured project for the Big Day of Service on May 17th, 2025. 

The Permaculture Fair Oaks mission is to promote earth care, people care, and the return of surplus by teaching and modeling permaculture principles in accessible, inclusive ways. We believe healthy communities begin with healthy soil, clean water, and equitable access to food, knowledge, and opportunity.
